What distinguishes our Teachings from others?

All our Courses and Retreats are taught by qualified teachers, who teach in accordance with the Kadampa tradition, which  teachings can be traced back all the way to Buddha Shakyamuni.

Without qualified meditation teachers guiding and inspiring us we have no opportunity to meet Buddhas teachings or learn to integrate them into our busy modern lives.

Day Course : How to Find the Real Meaning of Human Life. - Sunday, 23rd February

This special day course will provide practical teachings on how to study and contemplate Dharma in such a way that our heart is touched, and our lives are genuinely transformed.

Half-day Course: Healing Difficult Relationships - Saturday, 29th February

Meditation is a way of calming the mind and developing a positive approach to life. It is easy to do and something everyone can learn. Through meditation and mindfulness, we can control our feelings and emotions, gain inner strength, let go of stress and start to truly relax.

                        In this half-day course, Colinda Linde, an experienced meditator and Buddhist practitioner, will guide you step-by-step through the practice of meditation.

The Peace of Emptiness: The Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Prajnaparamita with Commentary & Practice of the Heart Sutra - Weekend of the 6th - 8th March

In this Empowerment we will receive the blessing of Buddha Prajnaparamita and receive oral instructions on her practise. An empowerment is a blissful guided meditation through which we make a deep connection with Buddha Prajnaparamita and receive her healing, wisdom, and protective blessings. 

She is the manifestation of Buddha’s perfection of wisdom. Her function is to bestow the realisation of the higher perfection of wisdom, the realization of ultimate truth, or emptiness. These teachings were taught by Buddha in the Heart Sutra. 

Buddha taught that even a slight experience of emptiness can completely transform our life and it is therefore, we should regard ourselves very lucky to have this opportunity. Everyone is welcome.
