What to expect at a class:
A short guided breathing meditation to connect and experience some inner peace. No prior experience is necessary.
Every week the teachings explore one aspect of Buddha’s teachings, which focus on solutions to our everyday problems
We conclude with a meditation based on the teaching of that day.

About the Teacher:
As a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Gen Kelsang Mila is a modern – day Kadampa Nun and the resident teacher of Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Centre. She has been a student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for 18 years and ordained for thirteen years. Her teachings are always practical and easy to apply to everyday life.
How to join in ?
In Person at The Awakenings Centre, crn Florence Road and van Buuren Road, Bedfordview, Germiston.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the event starts to register and settle in. It is helpful to bring a pen and notebook if you would like to take notes. There is secure and ample parking.
