The Art of Meditation

Topic: Improving Mindfulness

Make your meditations more powerful and effective through joining this 5-week concentration program. Learn practical Buddhist techniques to still and harness your mind in meditation, leading to extraordinary freedom and insight!

Why train in concentration ?

Our mind is extremely powerful, endlessly creating our experiences, but until we develop concentration we have no means to harness our mind’s power and use it to deeply transform our life and our world.

By training in concentration, we will develop greater peace in our mind, we will have fewer distractions, we will experience greater contentment, and we will be able to focus freely on whatever we wish, creating extraordinary change in our lives.

This unique training in concentration leads us to a special quality of mind called “tranquil abiding,” a deeper level of concentration that arises through training in meditation in a systematic way over many sessions.

Tranquil abiding is a superior state of peace which brings us great power to make progress in our spiritual journey. In particular, through training in mindfulness we learn how to abide in meditation without distraction.

No need to wear special clothing. Dress comfortably. We sit on chairs or you can sit on a cushion and mat on the floor, which we provide. You can also pay at the door.

There are refreshments from 17:30, feel free to arrive early.

We’d love to see you.
