28th Dec 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
R90.00An explanation of this very special 3 Week Retreat .
Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Centre is offering for the first time, a special close Retreat of Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka.
Join in the Introduction Talk, Wednesday 28th December, to learn how you can participate in this Retreat, as a special close retreat or as the Great Preliminary Guide of Guru Yoga.
At the recent Spring Festival Venerable Geshe -la asked Gen-la Dekyong to give the transmission and commentary of the mantra of Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka, suggesting to practitioners of all New Kadampa Tradition centers to engage in retreat to collect 100,000 recitations of this mantra, as well as 10,000 Vajradaka mantras with a burning offering.
Gen-la Dekyong explained how this mantra is the very essence of the Guru Yoga of Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka. Through this mantra :
We can heal our mental continuum through this mantra recitation.
We can place strong potentials for spiritual realizations on our mind.
One of the best ways to repay Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka kindness is recitation of
this mantra because we’re putting this instruction the very essence of Guru Yoga into practice.
By reciting this mantra with faith, strong devotion and a pure motivation of compassion, strong conviction in the law of karma/cause and effect we will place very strong potentials within our mind to easily accomplish all the spiritual attainments.
The great practitioner, Gyalwa Ensapa and many of his followers attained enlightenment within three years through sincerely practicing the oral instructions of Je Tsongkhapa and as you may remember, Geshe-la said after this instruction, this is magical!
So we’re going to learn, through this Retreat how this magic can happen for us.
The retreat itself runs from 29th December 2022 to the 18th January 2023.
