Purify Your Mind, Vajrasattva Retreat with Gen Kelsang Mila
16th Dec 2022 @ 9:00 am - 17th Dec 2022 @ 3:30 pm
R50.00 – R250.00Training in purification practice, the gateway to purifying non-virtuous actions and obstructions.
We all long for lasting happiness and freedom from problems. We can accomplish this only through purifying our past negativity and inner burdens from our past unskilful actions or negative karma.
‘Buddha taught many different methods to purify negative actions, but the supreme method is the practice of Vajrasattva meditation and mantra recitation. This practice is the scientific method to purify our mind and to transform it from an impure mind into a pure mind using Tantric technology.’
Purification is very important for everyone, but it is especially important for Dharma practitioners who wish to gain realisations of Sutra and Tantra. The negative actions we have created in the past are the main obstacles to our gaining Dharma realisations and fulfilling our spiritual wishes.
There will be 3 guided sessions a day, except when there is a Tsog offering Puja. The practice is accomplished within the sadhana ‘Offering to the Spiritual Guide’ and using the prayer booklet ‘The Meditation and Recitation of Solitary Vajrasattva’ to purify.
