Explore the pacifying power of breathing meditation. Through learning and practicing simple yet profound breathing meditations, we can experience a sense of inner peace and calm that will help us deal with daily difficulties and improve physical health. When our mind is calm and peaceful, we will have the spaciousness and clarity to allow all other positive states of mind to arise. Use the power of the breath to let go of irritation, anxiety and worry.
This series is perfect for beginners and experienced meditators alike.
No special clothing is needed. Dress comfortably. Chairs are available.
About the Teacher:
A working Dad of three, who is passionate about finding practical application of Buddhism in daily life.
Matevhu has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism since 2012. He started teaching meditation classes while living in Cape Town, also lived and taught meditation classes in Durban over the past two years. Now excited to be back in Johannesburg after having left in 2016.

Please use the Rothesay Avenue entrance to the parking lot. Park at Baby City and use those steps to come up to the upper level courtyard.
You are invited to arrive a few minutes before the class starts to register and settle in or have a cup of tea or coffee. We have a book shop to browse, water on sale, and it is helpful to bring a pen and notebook if you would like to take notes. There is secure and ample parking.
After the class there are refreshments and an opportunity to ask questions informally and meet other people.
