Develop inner peace at home. Our online classes are held online via Zoom.

Follow these Easy Steps to Register for a class:

  1. Click the “Click Here” link for the class you would like to attend;
  2. Wait to be redirected to Quicket and once there buy a ticket;
  3. Once you have paid, the ticket that is emailed to you will contain the Meeting for the Zoom call;
  4. Use the Zoom app and Join a Meeting using the Meeting ID (You do not need to sign into Zoom).

A Life of Limitless Possibilities

All the Mahayana practices of Sutra and Tantra are included within the six perfections. 

Buddha therefore taught that the six perfections are the actual path to enlightenment. The six perfections are the perfection of giving, moral discipline, patience, effort, mental stabilization and wisdom motivated by the wish of renunciation, a wish to permanently protect yourself from suffering. 

In this series, Buddhist Nun, Gen Kelsang Mila, will be teaching on Wisdom, the 6th Perfection. In particular we will learn about the true nature of reality, emptiness. 

 “There is no greater method for experiencing peace of mind and happiness than to understand and meditate on emptiness” – Modern Buddhism,  Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. 

Through developing patience and applying these practical teachings, you can integrate these perfections into your daily life and thereby begin to unlock your limitless potential.

The book Modern Buddhism is available as a free ebook and will be used as a reference for this series.

Heart Jewel – An Introduction to Avalokiteshvara

Join Buddhist Nun, Gen Kelsang Mila, Friday nights to learn about the practice of Heart Jewel, our heart practice as a Kadampa. Je Tsongkhapa, the principal object of Refuge, is a manifestation of the Compassion, Wisdom and Spiritual Power of all Buddhas.  

In this class you will be introduced to the Buddha of Compassion, how to develop your own compassion, a wish to protect yourself and others from problems and pain and how to transform adversities through relying upon the blessings of Buddha Avalokiteshvara, which can be obtained through the practice of Heart Jewel.

Awakening our Buddha Nature

Buddha taught that we need to enter the Mahayana path, or the path of a person of great scope because it is the only way in which we can attain full enlightenment and thereby fulfil the purpose of our human life. 

Through learning and practising the meditations Buddha taught in the great scope teachings, our mind will become more balanced and calm, our relationships will gradually improve and we will begin to relate to ourselves and others with more love, compassion and wisdom.
