Develop inner peace at home. Our online classes are held online via Zoom.

Follow these Easy Steps to Register for a class:

  1. Click the “Click Here” link for the class you would like to attend;
  2. Wait to be redirected to Quicket and once there buy a ticket;
  3. Once you have paid, the ticket that is emailed to you will contain the Meeting for the Zoom call;
  4. Use the Zoom app and Join a Meeting using the Meeting ID (You do not need to sign into Zoom).

How to Solve our Human Problems

We all understand what it means to feel angry. But do we understand what the real consequences of such a mind are, both for ourselves and others? In these classes we will have an in-depth look at the nature of anger, how it develops, what happens when we get angry and most importantly, how to stop such a mind from even developing. These teachings are based upon the book How to solve our human problems written by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso where he offers us modern, clear advice on how to overcome this most dangerous delusion.

The Beauty of Patience

Sometimes, we feel that things in our life are just going wrong. We encounter difficult situations, we can’t control them, and we feel that the situation itself is the problem. As a result, our state of mind is precarious, always at the mercy of the next thing that happens. How can we change this without just swallowing our feelings of frustration and anger?

Buddha taught practical methods to practice true patience – a way to accept whatever happens, without becoming unhappy and without repressing our feelings. By using these methods we will develop a deep inner peace that cannot be disturbed by changing conditions. We can still fix things that break and work to change the world for the better, but we will be able to do so from a place of peace rather than agitation.

What to expect at a class?

Each class begins with a meditation to settle the mind, a short talk on a particular topic and a meditation to conclude to take the meaning into our heart and carry that intention into our daily life, informing all our actions.

Each class is self-contained.

The teachings are based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s latest book, The Mirror of Dharma With Additions.

The Liberating Prayer and the book The Mirror of Dharma With Additions are available in our book shop.
