Vajrapani KBC is a registered NPO 011-344 and is run entirely by volunteers.
Volunteering for the Centre has immeasurable benefit. It is a great to way to find out about the Centre’s range of activities and to meet the friendly community who support its development.
There are a multitude of jobs that need completing to ensure the Centre runs smoothly for everyone who visits. There are jobs for everyone.
Some small and quick, some more longer term and regular weekly tasks that come with great training and input from our dedicated management team. Any help of any kind is greatly appreciated.

For this reason, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche says that these centers are very precious and that whenever we engage in an action to benefit a center we are in fact benefitting all living beings. Through such actions we accumulate vast merit, purify negativities, and receive powerful blessings
VKBC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing peace and happiness to Johannesburg and the surrounding areas. We aim to teach people how to develop pure, positive states of mind, giving practical tools to transform the difficulties of everyday life into opportunities for personal growth and transformation using modern Kadampa Buddhism and meditation.
Our Center runs on volunteers. When we come together there is power, and this power creates change through meditating together, building community and envisioning what can happen when we are happy and cherishing others. We accumulate good fortune, a positive state of mind, and we support a peaceful place of refuge for others to enjoy.
Volunteer opportunities are available in the education and administrative departments. Some volunteer areas for each department are listed below. If you have an interest, please speak to Matevhu, Administrative Director, at the Center or email epc@meditation.org.za about what inspires you.
