A 4-Week Course based on How to Transform Your Life by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
Most of us carry a quiet sense that our life is somehow out of our control — that things happen to us rather than arising from causes we have set in motion. This four-week course gently challenges that assumption, drawing on one of the most practical and liberating teachings in Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s How to Transform Your Life: the four general characteristics of karma.
Understanding how our actions – of body, speech and mind – shape our experience is a blueprint for genuine freedom. When we see clearly how happiness arises and how suffering arises, we discover that we are not helpless. We are, as Venerable Geshe teaches, the creators of our own experience.
Each week we hear one characteristic of karma taught directly from the text, explore it through guided meditation, and take one simple practice into daily life. No prior experience is needed. Beginners are warmly welcome.
