On this guided retreat discover the peaceful clarity of your mind on day one and on day two discover how all appearances are the nature of your mind arising in dependance upon outer and inner conditions and are not separate from your mind.
With this insight we can live with the understanding that our problems are like bad weather in the mind, or like clouds in the sky. We all know that when the storms disappear and the clouds fade away, the sky becomes clear, still and bright.
Gaining experience of this truth, in meditation we can use this experience to solve our problems in daily life.
Programme: Gentle silence observed until lunch time. The Meditation room is silent.

What is Retreat?
Retreat means we stop all forms of business and extraneous activities in order to emphasize a particular spiritual practice. There are three kinds of retreats: physical, verbal, and mental.
We engage in physical retreat when, with a spiritual motivation, we isolate ourselves from other people, activities, and noise, and disengage from extraneous and meaningless actions.
We engage in verbal retreat when, with a spiritual motivation, we refrain from meaningless talk and periodically remain silent.
We engage in mental retreat by preventing distractions and strong delusions such as attachment, anger, and jealousy from arising, and by maintaining mindfulness and conscientiousness.
We’d love to see you.
