Compassionate Walk for World Peace & Guided Meditation with Matevhu Davhana
Enjoy periods of silence in nature and appreciate your environment in a deeper, more peaceful way.
With a peaceful and positive state of mind, we will engage in a gentle and comfortable walk in the beautiful Emmarentia park, for about an hour, thereafter we’ll engage in a group meditation which will be preceded by a brief inspirational talk. Through this effort we create the causes together to bring about world peace.
By creating authentic inner peace in our own minds, we can create world peace.
This event is also a fundraiser for VKBC – if you can’t join the walk, you can still support us by sponsoring a participant or donating to our precious Dharma Centre.”
“Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible. We all wish for world peace, but world peace will never be achieved unless we first establish peace within our own minds.” – Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
